Braun DW-30 Square Digital LCD Wristwatch
The Braun wristwatches of the 1970s, designed by Dietrich Lubs and Dieter Rams, have received renewed interest in recent years - due in no small part to the influence of Rams on the design aesthetic of Jonathan Ive for Apple. In response, several classic watches have been reissued by Braun.
This watch is a close reproduction of the extremely sought-after Model DW30 from 1978, of which only 10,000 (or 3,000, it depends on whom you ask) were made.
It measures 42mm square by 11.5mm thick, with a matte stainless steel case and a leather strap. It has a an LED back lit digital display and has a 30m water resistance with a scratch resistant mineral glass and comes with a 2 year warranty.
